Officer Paul was killed in a motorcycle accident while attempting to catch up to a speeding vehicle on I-440.

He was running radar between Rock Quarry and Hammond Roads, when his motorcycle went out of control and struck the center median guard rail.

Officer Paul had been with the agency for seven years and is survived by his wife and one-year-old daughter.
